Is it normally the case that regionals tests are normally very easy? I, in division B, have been looking at study materials for the division C counterpart in order to be extra prepared for the B contest, but the tests I encountered were completely elementary level, and I in turn overlooked the easy material.
Sine functions are quite odd, to be honest.

Do you mean in general or a particular event? I think it's always remember the easy stuff too. If you know the hard stuff, you should probably already know the easy stuff.
