Also congrats to Shady Side for placing 14th and Springhouse for placing 17th (and winning the first newcomer award!) A solid showing from PA in both divisions!

Congrats to all the PA teams at Nats! I like to think we did PA proud (especially with that one "Pennsyl..-vania" cheer :D ) It's been a wonderful 6 years for me as a participant in PA scioly, and I'll be sad that I won't be able to volunteer in state next year. It was great to see both C div teams make top 10 this year, and I hope that trend continues!

and now to change my status to grad!

I'm very excited to announce that the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) will host its first-ever Division C invitational tournament on Saturday, January 24, 2015. Our website is now live at scioly.mit.edu. Registration will open in September, and we hope that our field of competitors will include at least a few teams from Pennsylvania and New Jersey! Boston is about a 5 hour drive from the Philadelphia area.

Please let your coaches know about our new invitational! We're striving to cut no corners in making this tournament the best it can possibly be. Feel free to email scioly [at] mit [dot] edu with any questions, and I hope to see you all in January. :)
