I understand how frustrating it must have been. The key issue for everyone here is that mistakes will always happen in life - you can put all the planning, resources, time etc into something and still never achieve perfection. In SO we have an appeals and arbitration process in place to as objectively as possible deal with these. In this situation it did it's job - the extremely rare scheduling mistake was accounted for and you were allowed to compete.Toms_42 wrote:My coach is confident that that is the case, and even in the unlikely event that we had registered wrong, measures should be taken to ensure that the team can still compete, not measures against that team...

I hope so. The one from... (2011 was it?) was very useful. If nobody is planning to make one i could help organize one for this year. we could ask people who placed or got top ten for a tech event to send a pic of their device and we could also use the pictures that the event supervisors took. I think this would be a good reference frame for other people.

I would be happy to contribute. we had some good mechanicals, but I would probably only submit rotors, as we need to keep our design secrets .Bazinga+ wrote:I hope so. The one from... I'll start the Best of Nationals page as soon as I can. In the meantime, compile your pictures so they're ready to send!

This is one of the reasons why we haven't been able to compile pictures recently, people are secretive about their builds so they are rather unwilling to submit them to the public eye.Toms_42 wrote:I would be happy to contribute. we had some good mechanicals, but I would probably only submit rotors, as we need to keep our design secrets .

For page-loading time purposes, it would be nice for it to be like a question marathon employing the use of /hide.A Person wrote:Ah, I love those. Re: 2014 National Tournament: University of Central Florida
I'm wondering this as well. Another thing I'm interested in is if UCF has the assortment of videos that they showed at opening ceremony on their channel if they have one. Happy, of course, is on YouTube, but I'm not sure about the others.PacificGoldenPlover wrote:Anyone have any clue when the opening/awards ceremonies will be online?
