We screwed up so badly at Regionals...
100% of deaths are somehow caused by science.
Don't be a statistic.
Don't do science.

Maybe. It would be much easier without Meads Mill.

This is our 3rd year, and we have made it to states all 3. We are Bedford, from PA Southwestern. We placed 2nd behind shady side at regionals, so maybe a chance since they make it to nationals every year anyway... It's just fun to do scioly. We got medals in 12 (I think) events yesterday. I got medals in boomilever, robocross, Wheeled Vehicle (1st!), experimental design, helicopters, and metric mastery.

There's definitely a chance, Division B is pretty wide open in PA this year behind Shady Side. Strath Haven is not as dominant as they were last year, so there's definitely an opportunity for a new team to come up and take the 2nd spot (or even 1st, you can't assume anything this year in PA). Maybe it'll be you!

Awesome! I remember our school's first year (2011-2012) we were so confident at states, and then we got dead last

If we made it to nationals, I would cry for real. I put so much time, blood, sweat, and tears (I know, what a clique) into science olympiad. My only concern is that half our team is veterans, and the other half not-so-veterans. If only we could clone the one half and replace the second.....

Hi im from shadyside and I know how well u guys did. My suggestion is to just let it go at the competition and to stop worrying. My grade has been to nationals all 4 years and, trust me, I KNOW how stressful states is. I've learned that stressing doesn't help because no matter what u do right now, the end result is going to reflect how well u have been working this whole year(most cases). Anyways, shoot for the top, and hope for the best. (and don't feel bad if u lose by a point because we know EXACTLY how it feels).
