Re: Nationals Raw Scores
Ward-Melville was barred from competing at their state tournament a while back becuase of a phone/paperwork mixup and in my opinion some unreasonable rulings by people in charge. If you want to know more just look around the state discussion forms for explanation.DNAHelicase wrote:Hey! How did Ward-Melville Do??

Re: Nationals Raw Scores
Well this got a bit off track...so the entomology test was fairly difficult then, if a medalist missed 3? I seriously doubt any medalists missed more than 2 on geomaps.

Re: Nationals Raw Scores
The entomology test wasn't hard. It was quite simple for a nationals test; our state test was harder. I'm guessing that the entomology raw scores percentage correct must have been fairly high. Medalists probably missed only <5 for sure.
GeoLogic Mapping wasn't terribly difficult, but it wasn't terribly easy either. My partner and I were actually unsure about the last problem, so I think we missed a few, unless we guessed correctly...Still, raw score percentages are definitely very high.

Re: Nationals Raw Scores
Interesting. To be honest, I feel like we missed a few too, but even some 20th place finishers said that that they didn't miss a single question, so that made me wonder. That last question definitely had confusing wording (I'd never seen "map projection" used in that context before). And then my partner and I both derped and treated it like a contact instead of a bed... At least we had plenty of time
