Going to post a question to keep the marathon going!

Here's another question.
At a Marriott hotel in Seattle, Washington, multiple guests developed a headache and a severe fever. This occurred in late December 2002. Later, the disease was identified as X. pseudonymous. Please write a case definition.

That's correct! For horizontal transmission, just remember that it's transmitted from one individual to another in the same generation.
