We got 3rd at state... :)
[it was all thanks to my 6th grader friend who's good at computers(a.k.a. my S.O.partner for compute this)]

our test was on earthquakes and we had a specific link on our site with a ton of Earthquke stuff so our site helped a lot

yea I think we also benefited from the fact that almost all of our practice tests were on Earthquakes
Our coach was convinced we would get a test on them at states or regionals I guess she was right

but there is way more than earthquakes and other things that we traditionally associate with the usgs site. for example, they have a wealth of information on biology and topics of interest in that field. they even have an article on bird flu! :x

yeah but the biology stuff is much harder to find
