How do you(that being the person whom is viewing this) suppose we prepare for this event though?

study basic electric theories learn circuit diagrams learn how to make basic and complex circuits
basically learn all you can about circuits and electronic theories

Yep - in a nutshell, that's good general advice.

Study the concepts that you'll need to know. You won't know exactly what those are until you get the rules, but it appears it will be very basic electromagnetic theory.

Then work through the problems. Circuit Lab was a lot of calculations. Once you understand each specific concept, apply them. Get as many practice questions as you can, and work through them.

Circuit Lab, when it was in Division C, basically covered the following:
-Electronic Theory (Relationship between charge, energy, and power)
-Relating Voltage, Current, Power, and Resistance
-Calculating resistance and capacitance in series/parallel circuits (using Ohm's and Kirchoff's Laws)
-Capacitance in series/parallel
-Resistance-Capacitance Time Constants (charge after x time constants, etc)
-Different electronic components and their functions

Well I haven't done much for this event (obviously) but I am definitely going to learn Ohm's and Kirchoff's laws over the next week.

I would try and learn all the things the could possibly cover in this event over the summer
