Here are the rules http://soinc.org/sites/default/files/up ... obmiss.pdf
It is an event where you analize data about viruses and single celled organisms

There seems to be so much information in this event, especially at the nationals level. Do you know if we only have to learn it up to regional/state levels as opposed to nationals and/or how in-depth we have to be with each subject? I wouldn't think we would have to know EVERY disease involving viruses because there are a lot...

Microbe Mission was great!! Out of 100 questions I think my partner and I did really good... congrats to the top 3 teams who got medals!! There were 47 teams who competed in this event and my partner and I got 6th over all. Great job everyone!!

My partner an I got fifth. It was slightly annoying though, because even though we studied everything on the rules, they put up a lot of stuff that was more like Disease Detectives question. Endemic and Epidemic levels, for example. Neither my partner or I did Disease Detectives, so we were really surprised to have gotten 5th!

I thought the only C trials were Out and Back along with Protein Modeling. They are listed on the right-hand side of the nats results page.
