Re: Protein Modeling C
Actually, they did release the protein that next years topic is going to be on. Well, they mentioned it at least, on 3D molecular designs, which is not really official but they do supply the tubers.Magikarpmaster629 wrote:Rules are not normally released until september 2...did they already announce the topic!?winchesetr wrote:Next years protein looks like a blast

Re: Protein Modeling C
Just to share with everyone. Here is the post about next years protein:
" The 2015-2016 challenge will focus on the sepiapterin reductase enzyme, which is needed to make neurotransmitters. A mutation in the gene that encodes this protein was identified by whole genome sequencing in 2010, leading to a molecular diagnosis and successful treatment of California twins with gene variants causing them to have life-threatening low levels of three neurotransmitters"

Re: Protein Modeling C
And the question remains, will MSOE ever release the actual point scores for builds and the test/answer key.

Re: Protein Modeling C
Ahh I'm super excited for this year's protein! Can't wait for the end of the month!
Has anyone figured out a cheap alternative to the mini toobers? I saw someone mention gear ties earlier, but I was wondering if anyone found anything for the upcoming year. The shipping is insane for these toobers x.x
