Just so y'all know...

The nationals set was tough but not too hard. My partners and I got 7th( :x :? ) with 22 words in 3:54.

We shouldn't have passed on one of the words, (subduction) but we did and I think that it cost us a medal. /:
research is what I'm doing when I don't know what I'm doing.

2nd place - 24 words in 2:40. Spent over 30 seconds on one super easy word (amphibian) before passing it T_T.

Personally felt as if nationals was extremely easy in terms of word difficulty - teams preparing for this event should focus on speed rather than getting super hard words right (but maybe next year the words will get a lot harder)

scienceswimmer4, nice job to you and your team for getting 7th

Scienceswimmer4: Are you sure? My teammates and I got 23 words in 2:27 and got 8th place.
I completely agree with you, Adi1008, we passed a really stupid word -.-, but the first word was also one we passed and a little unexpected imo.

It's no consolation, but that's really impressive, at any rate!

My team sucked so bad, we got 48th.... Somehow we only got 9 words and skipped easy ones such as fossil, and element.

Congratulations to everyone, you all did amazingly! My partners and I were just curious as to what some of the hardest words/words that stuck out to you guys were? But really, some of the scores you guys got were very impressive.
Regionals- 1st- 44
States- 3rd- 168 :(
Nationals- lol no

None of the words were really that hard, and that's why all the times and scores seem amazing. I don't really even remember any of the words except for amphibian, but you can buy the national test CD when it comes out later this year and take a look at the words

Thank you! 7th is great but it's a little bit hard to be happy about it when it's your last year in Div. B... We can't redeem ourselves.
And I agree. The words were fairly simple. We should have definitely focused on speed.
