Re: It's About Time C
This Saturday I am heading into Regionals. This whole week has consisted of compiling my binder full of info. Anyone want to share what they put in theirs? Also, links to useful sites would be appreciated

Sure
Here's my notes page for IAT

Pretty bad imo but it won us first (along with our clock of course)

My partner and I don't use an escapement on our device, and we can still get fractional swings close enough to get near perfect scores on our device.elephantower wrote: i.e. aren't both unworkable? Re: It's About Time C
How do you measure fractional swings -- with a protractor, or just guesswork? If the former, how do you stop damping without an escapement?jkang wrote:My partner and I don't use an escapement on our device, and we can still get fractional swings close enough to get near perfect scores on our device.elephantower wrote: i.e. aren't both unworkable? The rules don't really specify but what kind of calculators are we allowed to use for the written portion of the event?

It's kinda disappointing to see that there's no prize for the nats champ this year- looks like in the past, the winners got a trip to the NAWCC in Tennessee.
