Our building events usually bomb. But this year they did pretty well.

Well my school doesn't take 6th or 9th graders, and we only got 4 8th graders for the team, so we have a ton of fresh new 7th graders who are actually enthusiatic and ceative with the building events, so they were actually decent builders.. however, they hate studying and working hard, so our study events BOMBED.. well bombed as in almost no medals.. but many 4ths 5ths and 6ths.

I know to have building events carry a team is just insane I mean at our regionals our lowest building result was 11th(wright stuff) but usually ther is at least one major bomb

Usually on the teams I've been on the building events have always been the problem. Although this year everything was... :x

lol surprisingly we didnt have any building lower than 6th at regionals.. although our Sumobot didn't actually move at that point so we just got last (6 out of 6) haha
States was a whole different storyy-- we had a 3rd (Scrambler) a 7th (Robocross) a 12th (Bridge), but then our Wright Stuff, Trajectory, and Sumobot COMPLETELY BOMBED ahah 28th, 28th, 27th respectively. Physical Science Lab was decent (21st or something)
However, some of our study events managed to bomb even more (I know, it doesn't seem possible right?) but we pulled out three 37ths, and like 5 low 30s. with mostly 20s, and only about 4 events finishing top 10. sad, i know.
