I go to Northern Hills Middle School (AKA Forest Hills Northern). We usually do pretty well. Last year we placed 9th at states, and hopefully this year we do a little better, considering we got 4th in our region and last year we got 7th.9enigma6 wrote:We never went to states in middle school, but we did go last year and will go this year too (since we got first in our region). i go to haslett and we do very well considering our team size, 11 people. Where do you go?croman74 wrote:You live in MI? Does your team usually go to state? My teams in region 12.9enigma6 wrote:michigan, region 11 (central MI hosted at Lansing community college)

your school takes 5th graders? ours allows 6-9 to try out but 0nly 7-9 usually make the team-there is usually at least one 6th grade alternate though.kspad wrote:Southeastern Michigan. Been in it since 5th grade, states since 7th grade, hope that we make it again Freshman Year!

Re: What State and Region are you guys in?
Lake Erie-Niagara, New York.. 4th year qualifying states in a row, but we got our butts kicked at regionals.. usually we dominate our region, but this year we got 2nd and there was a difference of like 25 between 1st and 2nd.. we had barely any medals, but no events placed lower than 6th.. still an amazing feat. this year our building events really carrried us, and that is making a difference,

The Glass is neither half full nor half empty-it is simply twice as large as it needs to be.
