Isnt it like 10 months too early to be making predictions, considering that a week before states this year, we bsaically decided it was up in the air, and you all are predicting 10 months in advance? At this point, anyone could do something amazing, or drop out. It's WAY too early to predict ANYTHING

Just know that it doesn't matter how long you study, but how hard you study. ;) And I agree with haven chuck. Nationals hasn't even passed yet, but you're already guessing. And you never know how much other teams are studying.

You just restated what Havenchuck just said, if you didn't realize.

Now, in regards to the predictions. I do think that predictions at this time could be very wrong from what they actually will be, but making predictions is part of the fun of Science Olympiad. Think about sports. Debating who will win, or what will happen is one of the most fun things that you can do, in my opinion. Science Olympiad is sort of similar. Yeah, maybe when the season is really getting started in October in November would be a better time for predictions, but I don't know why you two, Havenchuck and Croman are so vehemently against the predictions now.

I'm not against predictions, I just think it's too early to start.

It was just for fun. And anyway...

It's not like these are my final predictions. Of course they'll change. This is like predicting the Red Wings will win the Stanley Cup next year. It's probably too early, but it's still fun. But I guess if you guys are against it I'll refrain from posting my C rankings.

I'm not saying that you should stop predicting, I was just saying that it won't be very accurate. Sorry if it came out that way. I didn't mean it to be. (By the way, Red Wings will win the cup this year and the next! ;) )

I know they won't be very accurate. Although it would be really cool if the actual places are really close to these! And considering how good the Red Wings are, they probably will. :| (not that I'll like that...)

Why is 'asian' in quotation marks?
