Gelinas has a lot of lurkers. Most of them are smart enough to read the thread before attempting to jump into it.

Oh, we're everywhere, and we're watching you...
Lol no, but seriously, we did tell everyone on our team (multiple times) to get an account on this site, so a lot of them did, but haven't posted anything... others didn't make accounts before, but now are starting to... etc. We started the year with 73 people at our first meeting, still had about 55 by Regionals, and now have a good 30-some constant, dedicated members, so there are a lot of us period... hence a lot of us on this site.

As for the division thing, well, I'll change mine once I start working on SciO for next year (which will probably be when the event list comes out, yes).

Well, they make practice events, help out, work on the National trials, organize stuff, and provide moral support :D Our team wouldn't be what it is if we only had the 15 who compete, or even the 15 + 7 alternates who get to go to Nats.

we also thought it was strange that the writer reused a story (it was last year's nationals story). AND the fact that they had the scale for the student generated map wrong! We had to completely re-do it!
That was last year's nationals story? That's not exactly fair that people who went to nationals had already taken that test, that gives the teams that went to nationals last year an unfair advantage. it was an interesting story though. and omg the scale for the student drawn map thing was so annoying! we didnt have time to go back and re-draw ours without that scale, so we had to just leave it. ugh! although the map was switched, i did think it was interesting to use a mapquest map as well. that threw in a new and different twist, however it was not that hard, considering mapquest is supposed to be easy for people to read[/quote]

yes, it is not exactly fair but it is published, so anyone could have gotten it i guess...
and strangely enough, the mapquest was the same, and it had the same question!
