This was supposed to have been the second year for Junkyard, but the state directors voted to exclude it last year. It was necessary to change after only 1 year to get the event rotation back into sync.

Note: The events in the rotation that used to be posted were only place holders to show the relation between event changes. The actual events may vary (as many have observed). Additionally, the rotation schedule itself is subject to change.

The last couple of weeks have been almost non-stop chaos for those responsible for releasing next year's events. They were in meetings up through yesterday and are probably traveling home today. Give them a few days to get things sorted out and verify the information.
Information expressed here is solely the opinion of the author. Any similarity to that of the management or any official instrument is purely coincidental! Doing Science Olympiad since 1987!
