Our regionals are usually the second week of March, which tends to be around the 10th-15th.

Wow! All of your Regionals are so early! Mine are on April 5th!
Science Olympiad is a tribute to Murphey's Law. This has been proven experimentally.
And no, I'm not a guy...even though my sig says will robsinson. It's a reference to Lost in Space, an ancient sci fi TV show. And the robot is the character who always says the line.

I don't think March 21st is that late. It all really depends on when you start. My team starts in mid-December.

Georgia B regionals at Oglethrope University Feb 21, 2009
1st overall Fulton Science Academy

FSA Team 1 - 1st place in Anatomy,Bio-Process Lab, Ecology, Environmental Chemistry, Experimental Design, Fossils, Meterology, Reach for the Stars, Write it Do it, and Trajectory
2nd place in Disease Detective, Dynamic Planet, Pentathlon, Road Scholar, Science Crime Busters, Elevated Bridge, Robo Cross and Wright Stuff
3rd place in Amphibians and Reptiles, and Crave the Wave

FSA Team 2 - 1 st place in Compute This, Dynamic Planet, Elevated Bridge, Robo Cross And Wright Stuff
2nd place in Anatomy, Crave the Wave, Ecology, Environmental Chemistry, Experimental Design, Fossils, Physical Science Lab and Reach for the Stars
3nd place in Meteorology and Scrambler
4th place in Road Scholar

My Reach for the Stars kids took 1st and 2nd.

My son took 1st in Reach for the Stars, Fossils and Meteorology. 2nd in Dynamic Planet.

An Excellent Day. Georgia States is March 28

I don't. Competition is stressful enough as it is, without having to worry about what you're missing at school.
