My school doesn't have classes but I wish we did. I would love it if we could have scio classes instead of english...lol. I hate english and my teacher!!!
Events this year:
Picture This
Forensics
Disease
I am extremely mad that Experimental is not at regionals!

I have mixed feelings. The west of our state has them, and they are like whirlwinds! But someone from our district made it last year, without a science O class. I honestly wouldnt be able to fit it into my schedule, with Orchestra, then next year Medical Health Science class, and a possible internship the next two years, I would hate to drop one of those!
WHOO! WE MADE IT! State All the Way! 6th place overall{/color]

Events: Disease Detectives- 4th place
Bio-Process Lab 6th place
Wright Stuff- 8th place

My school has a bunch of people trying out (120 last time), so we have practices after after school due to everyone being so enthusiastic. That way, none of us have to choose between band and SO, since many of us play an instrument.
Science Olympiad is a tribute to Murphey's Law. This has been proven experimentally.
And no, I'm not a guy...even though my sig says will robsinson. It's a reference to Lost in Space, an ancient sci fi TV show. And the robot is the character who always says the line.

I am offended by this comment as i go to the F-M district. Just because we win pretty much every year doesn't mean you need to make a ridiculous comment like that

Whose coach Leonidas?

Also F-M doesn't have a class which means you don't have to have one to be dominent

It's a joke. It wasn't intended to be "mean", and it was intended to be "ridiculous". It wasn't meant to be taken seriously.

Again- it was a joke. It doesn't have to reflect reality accurately.

I've never seen 300 either. However, the "THIS IS SPARTA!" quote from it that Flavorflav based his comment on is widely known.

I would like to stress- nobody was trying to insult FM. They were merely riffing on FM's utter dominance.

i know the quote i just didn't get the connection--i get your point about it being a joke, and if I were you I would joke abot it too--we sometime joke about the kids on Eagle Hill's team being robots--i just get annoyed sometimes and don't really think about stuff--i think you know that by now though

Sorry guys, as others have stated, it was supposed to be a joke/movie reference. Great movie though, I've watched it like 20 times (every time I feel the need to workout after)

Oh, and just a random comment about people taking things personally.

Nobody on this board (at least not me) ever posts things, or shouldn't ever post things, to put a specific school down, you know what I mean. Firstly, it is just wrong and I feel like the people in Science Olympiad are better than that, but also a lot of the teams on these boards are fantastic and have no reason to put other schools down for they too achieve a lot. To me, just being in Science Olympiad puts everybody on this board ahead of 99.9% of the world population. Fact.
