In my state they gave out medals for 1-6, and regionals had medals for 1-4.
Though at the invitational we went to in Ohio, they had medals 1-3, and ribbons 4-8

For the past 2 years:
N: 0
S: 5
R: 7
I: 1 medal, 2 ribbons
2009:

2008:

Kwalk's from Oak Ridge. It's not creepy that I know that, I just looked at his team overall then matched it to the scoresheet. ;)

I'm jealous, I have yet to compete at states in my 3 years I've been on my schools B team. Can't wait for my shot at states and hopefully nats.

It all depends on your state. In some states half the teams go because there are so few teams. In bigger states, it's a real challenge.

I'm in NY, and to get to states, you have to be within the top 4 usually at regionals, depending on the amount of teams signed up. This year, I think they sent 5, which was more than ever, and there were 37 teams. In the past it's been 3 that go to states with 25-29 that compete. And there's 8 or 9 really competitive teams, with 3 of them usually unbeatable powerhouses.

For me, going to states would be probably be the same feat as some teams on here going to nationals.
