I think the poll threads that east created sort of serve that purpose until the season really starts.

But we'd have to make a new one every year. I guess we could incorporate polls into the prediction thread and do a table of contents for links to them.

There's a respectable chance that the "Competitions" forums will be archived between now and the start of the next season, so if there is a thread that deals with next year or one that should carry over between years for some reason, you'll have to PM a mod to have it moved over from the Archive.

I keep forgetting that lots of people were never on the old board, so what I mean by archiving is that there will be a new forum where you can read all of the old threads, but you won't be able to reply to them or make new topics in there. It is mostly a way to keep the clutter down in the Event Help sections, but we'll probably do it here too so we don't have like 2000 post long NY and PA threads. If you were familiar with the old board, it will be done like that, but everything will be organized by year (once we have more than one year of archives on the new board), so you will actually be able to find stuff...

Two Things:
You can do it yourslef using the poll creation thing at the bottom of the thing when you create a thread

He won't do it because it will ust clog stuff up and its not actually SO season--you can make one in september i'd think

That poll was for 2009. They are talking about a new poll for 2010. But I agree that it can wait until at least the new rules come out.

Yeah I know. In one of the many PA threads we were discussing the possibility of DS resetting the votes once the season starts.
