Oh right! Explain the process of fission reactions in a nuclear reactor.

I'll give it a shot.
When a neutron is absorbed by a fissile atom, typically Uranium 235, the nucleus splits into two. This releases gamma radiation and heat energy, which is used to heat water into steam to drive a turbine. The turbine powers a generator, which produces electricity.

Bioremediation is using biological organisms to clean up human wastes. 1. Cleaning water so it can be used safely 2. Cleaning up ecosystems that human activity has damaged 3. Ex situ cleanup

Re: Green Generation B/C
Bioremediation is the process by which organisms are used to break down a pollutant. Typically, microorganisms such as bacteria are used due to their quick reproduction, manipulability, and short lifetimes. The organism is introduced to the location of the pollutant and the organism should break down that pollutant. It is crucial that research be done into the ecology of the introduced organism so that the introduced organism does not disturb the ecosystem (cough cough Cane Toads).
1. Oil Spills
2. Invasive control (ex Phorid flies for control of RIFA)
3. Pest Control (ex. theoretical use of Cane Toads before they wreaked havoc)

Re: Green Generation B/C
Chemicals containing hydrogen (H), carbon (C) and possibly other elements, that evaporate easily, are known (with the exception of methane (CH4)) as volatile organic compounds.
