Bioaccumulation is simply when a toxic substance accumulates in an organism. Biomagnification is when a toxic substance's density is multiplied by trophic levels. An eagle is around 5 trophic levels above a phytoplankton. A small density of DDT is in the water, some of which is picked up by the plankton. An ecosystem can support less consumers than producers, so in the trophic level above the phytoplankton, the DDT is much more potent. When it reaches the eagles, it is so potent they basically just die.
Internal costs are costs that companies will include in their financial plans: costs like wages, or materials that are factored into operating costs, etc. External costs are costs typically not included by companies: taxes from pollution, costs of dumping wastes, etc. Marginal costs are... the difference to make a profit?
