Umm, i don't really know how the question marathons work but i guess I will put the answer in one of those answer tabs if anyone is interested. :)
{This is an image of Equatorial Glaciers on Mars.}
{The mission that primarily studied this was the Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter. }
{And this mission also studied the Martian Polar Ice caps. }

I'll get this revived. Describe the formula for escape velocity.

Also, calculate the escape velocity for Venus.

No. But a teammate just wanted to post, and he (or she, I'm keeping it anonymous) doesn't have an account.

Ok; I was wondering because neither of those questions relate at all to the rules.

I'm just going to go ahead and post to start this thread up again.
What is the name of the mission that landed on mars in 1997, and what were the mission objectives?

I think....
{It was the Mars Pathfinder Mission with Sojourner as the Rover that landed on Mars. Sojourner was the first rover to land on Mars and the "goal" was to accomplish the idea of mankind being able to land a spacecraft on Mars. It also studied the surface of Mars and composition. Don't remember if there was another key goal for this mission.... }
