Name the order of speeds for the four main seismic waves.
Seismic... so Fastest to Slowest: P,S,Love,Rayleigh(including Stoneley which is high a Amplitute Rayleigh wave I believe)
I've thought of an epic signature and this space is too small to fit it. As of now, here are my events:
2015 Event- (Something)
Crave the Wave(-)
Simple Machines(-)
Solar System (-)

Since the asker has not returned to confirm the accuracy of your answer and it seems like you are correct, feel free to ask a question.

Source: "P-waves are the first waves to arrive on a complete record of ground shaking because they travel the fastest"
"Secondary, or S waves, travel slower than P waves"
"Rayleigh waves are the slowest of all the seismic wave types and in some ways the most complicated"
"One of the ways that I believe people express their appreciation to the rest of humanity is to make something wonderful and put it out there."

Alright, I wish I had a better question to ask, but I just want to get this marathon rolling, so:

What is the Doppler effect?

The Doppler effect is the apparent change in the frequency of a wave due to the relative movement of the source.

Explain how light can be polarized by means of refraction.

A beam of light enters a medium, polarizing to some degree. The beams then leave the medium and change direction again, so you have two split parallel beams of light.
