Uh I'm pretty sure MIT was not at -10 Fahrenheit. Probs more like a mid-high 20s at the lowest. :\ But yeah still hella cold

I think most teams had relatively weak performances because it was early in the year. Does flying to a tournament impact builds? Yes, and everyone that did fly had to get their items through security (if they didn't ship items) and probably had to do repairs when they arrived at MIT. However, I do not think teams traveling large distances had a large impact on overall rankings.

trolling edited on the projection for #1, i still believe in #2-6.
As a Troy student, I can assert that while our performance at MIT was lackluster, it is in no way an accurate representation of what we will look like before nationals. To illustrate, I've constructed an extremely crude and informal plot of Skill of Troy Scioly vs Time.

We procrastinate quite a bit, and our performance was due mainly to the fact that it was our first invite / early in the season / travel had an effect on builds

You think Interlake makes it out of WA? No offense to Bernard of course. Just wondering!
