Post by windu34 »

Where can I find raw scores and are there any already known for the 1st place teams in any events?

I think the Test Packets 2016 CDs will have tests from the National Tournament and scores for build events, but not raw scores for study events. Sometimes Event Supervisors might come on the forums and post raw scores, as was done for Crave the Wave B today.

I was an event supervisor for Fossils C.

I don't know all of the scores, but I remember a bit of the spread.

Top score was a 146/160, followed by a few in the 130s. I don't remember the bottom score but I believe it was somewhere in the 30s or 40s.
2009 events:
Fossils: 1st @ reg. 3rd @ states (stupid dinosaurs...) 5th @ nats.
Dynamic: 1st @ reg. 19thish @ states, 18th @ nats
Herpetology (NOT the study of herpes): NA
Enviro Chem: 39th @ states =(
Cell Bio: 9th @ reg. 18th @ nats
Remote: 6th @ states 3rd @ Nats
Ecology: 5th @ Nats

syo_astro wrote:I think everyone should not be literally asking Chalker for every single score available. Alright, if the nats people all decide to release it it's on them :P. But honestly, it is not, and should not be, essential to see the scores for everything (even builds). Sure, some people like it for motivation, but please try to be reasonable when asking Chalker stuff, as we all know he's a busy man ;). Just keep to the discussions of what the tests were like please :P.
Also can't forget about this...
