Just want to bump this thread for the start of the school year and SciOly season -- we hope everyone in the Northeast (and beyond!) will talk to their teams and coaches about attending the MIT Invitational Tournament for Division C on January 24, 2015. Registration will open in September; email scioly [at] mit [dot] edu with any questions. Hope to see everyone there.

well, at least one school from socal will be there. i look forward to (hopefully) seeing everyone. this invitational is literally one of the only reasons why I'm committed to trying out for my school team

I'm pleased to announce that registration is now open for the inaugural MIT Science Olympiad Invitational Tournament.

Please visit http://scioly.mit.edu/registration/ to access and submit the online registration form. Registration closes on November 1 or when 50 teams have registered. A tentative event schedule is also available at http://scioly.mit.edu/wp-content/upload ... hedule.pdf.

Thank you to all teams that registered on our first day. In the first 12 hours of registration, 18 teams from 12 schools in 9 states signed up to attend the invitational. I encourage teams who wish to attend to fill out the registration form soon, because spots are filling up quickly. We're very excited to host everyone on campus in January!

@nxtscholar: We may do so in the near future.

Spots are filling quickly! We currently have registrations from teams in 11 states, including 13 teams from schools that competed at the national tournament in 2014. Register soon to secure your team's place! States represented so far: California, Connecticut, Florida, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, and Texas.

Registration is now closed! 64 teams from 13 states are registered for the MIT Science Olympiad Invitational Tournament, including 18 teams from schools that competed at the national tournament in 2014. States represented: California, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, and Texas. We've been thrilled by the strong interest and look forward to seeing everyone in January! More information will be distributed to registered teams within the next couple of weeks.
