A list of teams currently registered for the MIT invitational is now available at http://scioly.mit.edu/wp-content/upload ... umbers.pdf, though the field may change slightly as the deadline for our receipt of the registration fee approaches. We're also very excited to have finalized our roster of lead event supervisors, which includes several people with experience writing and supervising events at the national tournament, as well as numerous Science Olympiad alumni who were national medalists and national champions back in the day.

Oh, apparently we're participating (Chattahoochee) and nobody noticed... alongside a bunch of schools we'll never beat :D (and just so i can be right later, I'm predicting an 18th place finish for our A-team ;) )

I keep doing that, maybe it's just from taking too many tests... I meant it's unusual that I haven't heard about it (especially if they registered that early)

We're very excited to welcome everyone to MIT in a bit more than a month, and we hope you're excited too! A bevy of important information about the tournament and tournament day has now been posted at http://scioly.mit.edu/tournament-day/, including a schedule, a complete list of team numbers and homerooms, and a tournament map.

I just noticed that Mission Possible was listed as an impounded event, although impound is only required for state and regional level competitions. Is that a typo?

Thank you for your question and for your close reading of our tentative schedule PDF -- this was a typo and has now been fixed. As indicated on the rules and policies page of our website and in an email to coaches on November 3rd, the MIT Science Olympiad Invitational Tournament will follow regional tournament rules for events that specify different rules for different levels of competition, so Mission Possible will use an ideal operation time of 60.0 seconds and not require impound.

Team numbers and homerooms: http://scioly.mit.edu/wp-content/upload ... umbers.pdf

I'm pleased to announce that we'll be offering guided tours of MIT's campus at 11:00 a.m. and 2:45 p.m. on tournament day! However, space is limited, and we want to try to give priority to high school juniors from out-of-state. See http://scioly.mit.edu/tournament-day/ for more information.
