SoCal Science Olympaid Summer Workshop
I know this isn't a tournament, but we're doing our 3rd annual SoCal Science Olympiad Summer Workshop. This is a1-day workshop, an abridged version of the Summer Insitute in Phoenix.
Science Olympiad Summer Workshop will be on Saturday, July 11, at Caltech.
- Attendees will receive an early copy of all the 2016 draft rules in early July (mailed to you prior to the day of the event).
- Events will be presented by State and National Event Supervisors and Event Rule Writers.
- Breakfast and lunch included.
- Registration fee: $80
- Must be 18 yr old or over to attend

When are rules sheets for the events typically released? Also, when should we expect an official list of the 2015-16 events?

the dipstick is an intricate device used to measure the amount of rain in a rain gauge. it can also be used as a derogatory term for your meteorology partners

The official rules come out in September, which is also when the list of events are official. There's a tentative list of events, but right after the National tournament is when major changes will occur.

Most likely the rules will be released on Labor Day (I think that's how it was for the last two years). After the draft rules come out, you can be reasonably sure of the events, but as bearasaurus said, they're only official once the final rules come out.coprolite_dipstick wrote:Not exactly pertaining to the workshop, but —
