I could also protect Alex since he is from NC, and it is being run there...
EDIT: Anyone know what invitationals Codebusters will be held at? I know Princeton and MIT will have it this year. It could also be someone who does Game On...

Okay, the Sassy didn't actually target Alex, it's just that we interpreted the It's About Time clue as being about Alex and it wasn't, my bad.Froggie wrote:Hmm.
I protect Alex-RCHS based on the reason above.

Daydreamer is also from NC, although she was just targeted and does not do codebusters (unless she just picked it up, but that seems unlikely).
I think ashernoel is a pretty good protect. You could protect me if you’d like as well, but it’s a bit of a stretch. I feel like there’s gotta be more to the clue than what we’ve figured out so far, because while the “Noel” clearly points to ashernoel we have not deciphered the meaning of the test of the clue.

I'll admit, I really am impressed. You are truly getting on top of this clue...
As a gift for your, hm, enthusiasm, I'll allow a situation to take place. If anyone can provide an explanation for the first clue of the game, provided from the Hawks of Hamburg, it should really fill the space of your questions.
The next clue, and the truth of the current one will be posted shortly.

Re: SciOly Assassination 116: And Then There Were None
There are three left. Three people, eyes darting around with suspicion. They accompany each other, just the three of them. One of them is the killer. Or maybe not, who knows?
The rain has passed and a watery sun peeks out from behind the clouds, but the waves still crash into the shore, roaring and filling the sea with foam. To even take a boat back to the island would have been suicide.
So far, the heliograph morse code has seen no response, nor is it likely that people on the mainland would’ve even tried sending out a boat. The larder is holding out fine; the three will not starve. But each of them, almost delirious with fear and suspicion, dare not let each other out of sight, except when they sleep. In the night, they close the door shut, lock both locks, chain the door, and barricade it with heavy furniture. And each night they fear for the murderer to strike…
You have successfully protected ashernoel. For now, the hand of justice has been stayed...not much longer, though...
72 hours - Both the Kill Clue and ID Clue are practically in plain sight. Good luck.

11 is probably not origami because 1 is probably bacteriophage. (although there are such things as lysogenic bacteriophages [i.e. lambda phage] and there are lytic viruses that are not phages)

Apologies, the clue had a tiny error. However, it has been fixed.

Also, what order are your numbers in?
"Blessed are you when people insult you and persecute you, and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of Me. Rejoice and be glad, for your reward in heaven is great; for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you." Matthew 5:11-12
I have no regrets.
