In remembrance of Len Joeris (Balsa Man) and Dr. Gerard Putz - Don't cry because they are gone. Smile because they were here.

I will dab on stage twice if I get an award at a SciOly Competition. If you and I go to a competition, and I get an award, you will probably know who I am.

And, if you see me:
Stand up.
And then dab.
See you there!

I’m shocked that nobody has mentioned Dvorak yet. Hello people???
Elgar E minor for cello (with Jacqueline du Pre playing obviously) is also one of the most beautiful pieces.
Shosty symphonies are great, too.
Sarasate composed the best show pieces. Mmmm Carmen Fantasy.
Wieniawski is a must when you talk about romantic pieces. Tchaik, too (guess who’s play Romeo and Juliet right now??? @dxu46).

And then we have JS Bach, Haydn, Mozart, Paganini, Liszt, Chopin, yadi yada.

True...
Elgar E minor for cello (with Jacqueline du Pre playing obviously) is also one of the most beautiful pieces.
Elgar Enigma is better, 100%
Shosty symphonies are great, too.
So is his Festive Overture
Wieniawski is a must when you talk about romantic pieces. Tchaik, too
Wienawski violin concerto no 2 was the source of my nightmares for many weeks...
(guess who’s play Romeo and Juliet right now??? @dxu46).
Speaking of which, do you think he'd allow us to play the final movement of the farewell symphony?

Ugh, y'all string people...
Wind instruments are a lot better.
Percussion is the best, of course.

Uh, excuse you? With his E minor being one of the greatest cello concertos of all times? I know they're not the same themes, but Wieniawski's Variations are much better. Solo is great.
Shosty symphonies are great, too.

Oof that was a nightmare. I thought you'd take principal's because I didn't know what I was doing half the times. At least I wasn't first. I still think his 5 and 6 symphonies are better though.

Yeah Wien 2 is kind of hard. Not the worst, though (Dvorak violin concerto...). I want to play Polonaise

Probably not. He's pretty opinionated, so he probably already has the whole program thought out. AND we're 2 months into rehearsal...
