I'm homeschooled, so no stories.

When somebody on scioly forums says "they" without previous mention of people to whom the "they" could reference, who are "they"? (I know this is really specific, but I'm curious)

I got my quote from a comic book. Tells you a lot about me, doesn't it?

wot. uhhhh, im not really sure what you mean, but most people on here use "they" as a substitiution for the username of a person that they're talking about instead of he/she if they're not sure about their gender, etc. but yeah? im not sure if that's what you're asking or not, though, so sorry if i didn't answer it correctly!

Where would you travel if you could go anywhere in the world?

If you asked me a little while ago I would've said Florida so I could get out of school and watch Nats, but now I guess I would say... Somewhere with snow.

What's your opinion of school? Personally, I like it a lot, I just think having it for 6ish hours is a little wasteful, and I don't like homework.

I enjoy the social part of school more than the learning experience. I feel it is much easier to have learning needs met in a homeschool-esque situation(I have never been home-schooled though). I personally don't enjoy most of the things I do in school, and would learn much more in Math/Science/English taking online courses at home.

I do have a great History teacher though.

Anyway, what is you favorite weather?
(I like ~55 degrees and when it rained the night before, perfect for running)

Now? I get out of school at about 2:30 or so..sometimes 3:00 since I'm in clubs.
Do you want to build a snowman? And as a real question, does your team still meet up after Nationals, or State?

I would LOVE to build a snowman except that I can't because I'm terrible at making one.
My team still meet up after Nationals but not everyone shows up. Usually the 6th, 7th, and 8th graders meet up and with the 9th graders it really depends.

My Question: What are some other activities you do besides Science Olympiad?

I teach myself Calculus, Physics, and/or computer Science in my leisure time, which I then use for Science O. I guess the answer is that I do more Science O.

Next question: this was the tie breaker on one of our maglev tests: What is the air speed velocity of an unladen swallow?
More seriously, where would you want nationals to be next year?

Where I would want it? To be honest, Florida again. Everything was really nicely run and the presentation was amazing. Where it will be? Nebraska.

Wearing the Plaid Suit at nationals two years ago. Everybody asked for pictures with us, even before we metaled in almost every one of our events.

Next question: what is your fastest time solving a Rubik's cube? (Mine is pretty bad, 38 seconds.)
