A Towel (I love that one)
This is sort of a riddle (you'll be able to get it if you used to watch a lot of TV) :
At night they come without being fetched, And by day they are lost without being stolen.

You throw away the outside and cook the inside. Then you eat the outside and throw away the inside. What did you eat?

E
Three men were playing memory. There were 20 cards total, 10 pairs.
The first man claims to have gotten 10 pairs on his first try.
The second man, 9.
The third, 8.
One of these men is lying. Which one, and explain.

Re: Riddle Me This
the first man. If he drew 10 pairs on the first try, then he would have gotten all the cards and the others wouldn't have gotten any.
A old man was dying, and he gave each of his three sons a gold coin and told them to go get something that would fill up the entire barn, and whoever accomplished the task would inherit his property. The eldest son went out and bought a hundred rocks. Those did not fill up the barn. The middle son went out and bought ten bales of hay, but even those barely didn't fill up the entire barn. The youngest son went out and bought two (single) items and filled the entire barn. What did the youngest son buy, and what did he fill the room with?

Nope. The cards were placed out again after every turn. One is still obviously lying.pikachu4919 wrote:the first man. If he drew 10 pairs on the first try, then he would have gotten all the cards and the others wouldn't have gotten any.

Re: Riddle Me This
The second man. You can't get 9 pairs if there were only 10 to start with, because then the last two cards would be a pair.
Since I don't know any good riddles, let's just continue with this one:
