Ooohh, I don't think I'm ready for moderate work. Think I'll stick with my current workload.starpug wrote:There are 4 steps for a very good shot at going to nationalsquizbowl13 wrote:I would do anything. you name it, anyone on my team would do it.
Step 1. Move to Waterville, Maine
Step 2. Join Waterville High School Science Olympiad Team
Step 3. Work at least moderately so we can win States for the 16th straight time
Step 4. Go to nationals
Proven to work
what would you do to go to NATS?

Moderate? i show up, eat and chat for 2 hours then go home. A few months later I find myself at nats...

That actually sounds surprisingly like our practices this year. And we got as closer to nationals than we'd been since 2003. Maybe it works.

Me too. Third place in the country, and half of our meetings are wastes of time. Imagine if we got stuff done at the meetings- we'd be SOLON!

I don't know why the coaches bother to make us attend every single meeting.
I would estimate a good 2/3 of them to be a complete waste of time. If we were productive we might have.. BEATEN COMMUNITY.
I might be wrong on this prediction but I don't see our B div team working productively at all, and I think they got off to a really bad start already (my prediction).
