Re: Time Wasters
Last year, I went to Goodwill and bought an old copy of Scattergories, which has a mechanical timer that turns as it runs out. We had it hit a switch when the timer ran out and we were able to adjust it to different times

But doesn't it say in the rules that you can have a max of 3 pre-lit candles?gelinasdynamickid wrote:combustion is out of specs. tried it at regionals, didn't get past the supervisor

Re: Time Wasters
Yes so true - it does say that in the rules. Why did they shut you down?!?! An idea I had is perhaps having a thick string melt over a candle after falling over it. Just a thought.dragon_fruit35 wrote:But doesn't it say in the rules that you can have a max of 3 pre-lit candles?gelinasdynamickid wrote:combustion is out of specs. tried it at regionals, didn't get past the supervisor

Re: Time Wasters
It did say it in the rules but burning something else (a string) is illegal. However, using it to heat up air and make it turn a fan blade? That's in specs.DankMcIntosh wrote:Yes so true - it does say that in the rules. Why did they shut you down?!?! An idea I had is perhaps having a thick string melt over a candle after falling over it.
