Re: Texas 2016
The people on the wait list don't attend the competition and therefore don't medal.windu34 wrote:What places do they medal? 1-3?iwonder wrote:Well, a few seasons we had a list, I've since graduated, not sure about this season
Someone that attended the competition always gets 1st, someone else 2nd, and another 3rd.

I think he's asking how many medals they give out per event at the competition, i.e., top 6 like nationals, or something else?iwonder wrote:The people on the wait list don't attend the competition and therefore don't medal.windu34 wrote:What places do they medal? 1-3?iwonder wrote:Well, a few seasons we had a list, I've since graduated, not sure about this season

Re: Texas 2016
Hi, does anyone know generally when/if a Regional competition will announce their list of offered events? I'm leading a fairly new and not full team this year and want to pick a Regional that offers most of everyone's events. I don't know if the list is just sent privately to already registered teams or if it will be public. Thanks.

Re: Texas 2016
You can find the regionals here: http://outreach.science.tamu.edu/tso/2016/regionals.php which has all the websites for each regional tournament. On those websites, I think you could find out about how many events it has. UT regional is a very well run tournament that covered all 23 national events last year (and I also think the 5 trial events), so I think that would be a good choiceIDrizzi wrote:Hi, does anyone know generally when/if a Regional competition will announce their list of offered events?
