Re: Georgia 2016
Their head coach retired after the 2014 season, and a lot of their students and coaches moved to McIntosh HS. Last year, JCB did not even have a team, so it's remarkable that they even made it to state.blueice wrote:Wait what happened to JC Booth? Sorry -_- I'm not updated on Division B

Re: Georgia 2016
I'm not sure either (and per my head coach there are still a couple teams that have not done signups...wow), but it's interesting to note that Lambert and RMSST are back after not qualifying last year. Additionally, schools like Columbus and Riverwood did not make it. The top 5 may be much more different than we expect it to be.

3-4 teams per division didn't sign up yet (it's on the website). I agree with you that the top 5 will probably change a lot, but I'm not sure how that relates to any of those team you mentioned (pretty sure none of them regularly place in the top half, although Lambert and Rockdale look like they might have a chance at it this year).samlan16 wrote:I'm not sure either (and per my head coach there are still a couple teams that have not done signups...wow), but it's interesting to note that Lambert and RMSST are back after not qualifying last year. Re: Georgia 2016
Lambert got screwed out of state last year because of some ice the weekend of their regional (they ended up coming to ours, ranked 5th, and because of that did not get an invite to state). They did fairly well at GT as did RMSST despite their high scores and, with some practice over these next few weeks, could easily be in the top half if not the top 10.Unome wrote:3-4 teams per division didn't sign up yet (it's on the website). That being said, top schools like GSMST, Hooch, Northview, and Milton may see an increase in their scores, which could affect overall rankings.
