Re: Alabama 2016
For the meager amount of people from AL who actually frequently come on here...
Yeah... Alabama is pretty sad.
We did get in the top 10th at nationals once in 2014 though!!

The Division B Regionals at Auburn University is Feb 27, 2016, I'm pretty sure... That's what it said on the AMSSO website, but I could be wrong.foreverphysics wrote:Useful info:

So what happens in Alabama?sciolylover13 wrote:What an interesting topic... 2 posts. Alabama is really boring.
Also, this is my 700th post (which may or may not be a good thing; at least I try to keep out of General Chat)

They made Nationals a few years ago, but besides that I'm pretty sure it's Auburn since the late 90s (redistricting aside)Jaol wrote:What about, like Auburn's feeder Drake? Aren't they competitive?

Auburn Jr. High School has been going to nationals since 1997.Unome wrote:They made Nationals a few years ago, but besides that I'm pretty sure it's Auburn since the late 90s (redistricting aside)Jaol wrote:What about, like Auburn's feeder Drake? Aren't they competitive?
It would be sad if the one year we didn't was the one year I made the switch from Drake to AJHS.

Literally AJHS and Drake are the same entity--they work together in a thing called AMSSO, which connects all the science programs from both Drake and the Junior High.Jaol wrote:What about, like Auburn's feeder Drake? Aren't they competitive?
