What have people traded to get cheese hats in the past? This is my first year going to Nationals and I want to show the rest of my team up...

I remembering reading a story about someone who got a cheese hat for free. Generally it takes a lot; either one or two good items, generally hats (if you get to the WI teams early) or bags and bags full of stuff.

This is late, but that free cheese hat was probably me. After 7 years of swap meets it's gotten old and I just give them away if someone asks nicely and they really want it.

Certainly possible, although I don't remember getting a lanyard. There are quite a few of us though.

Not sure. Does anyone know what would annoy the middle schoolers from MA the most? They were incredibly rude to me last year.

Hand out a bunch of Yankees memorabilia and wear as much Yankees branded clothing as possible, that's guaranteed to annoy anyone from Massachusetts.

Or just ask them for a pink whale hat and have them give you the evil eye and say no.
