Correct (it was liquid). Your turn.

Could someone please point me to some resources for words appropriate for Division B?
I'm assuming that Picture This, Division B, is not going to use High School level words. Is that a reasonable assumption?

There is a place for asking those kind of questions (pertaining to Picture This): http://scioly.org/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=207&t=7698
Also, to answer your question, I honestly have no idea, because I'm not in Picture This, but that is a reasonable assumption.

To answer your question:
1) Here
2) The link should give you a good idea of what to expect; all of the lists have good difficulty progression. I'd say that the event won't differ much between B and C, and that lists from either division can be used interchangeably (although this is based on limited knowledge, since I've never competed in this event).

Eh not really. At Texas State tournament last year I didn't know about half of the words they gave us (we got around 12-13 words out of 25 and got 2nd) and I was a ninth grader last year. Honestly, as useless of advice as it may sound, the best advice is to just practice everything. State had some really hard words, but nationals was quite easy (simple words like fossil and amphibian).

There are also going to be some words that are quite advanced for middle school students but are easy to draw for Picture This. For example, consider the word photoevaportation. It's a super easy word to draw (just photo + evaporation), but it's meaning is something few middle schoolers learn in school: the process of a planet being stripped of its atmosphere (or parts of the atmosphere) due to high energy photons and other electromagnetic radiation. It's useful to practice words like these too

Good luck :)
