1. What gives coral polyps their color?
2. What is the speed of sound in air and water? Which medium is it faster in, and why?
1. Zooxanthellae
2. 343 m/s in air; 1454 m/s in water I think; Faster in Water because it is denser than air

What is the elastic rebound theory?
The elastic rebound theory was introduced by Henry Reid, and says that the crust of the earth gradually gains stress, and when the amount of stress exceeds the strength of the rock, the energy is released, resulting in an earthquake.
