56.6 Degrees. I'm going to say East for the direction but the directions you gave conflicted with the trend of the line. The direction might be South. If I were to extend my answer, I would report a strike of 356.

Well since no one has posting anything in ages, I might as well get things going again. Here's a fairly simple one:

How many tectonic plates are there?

There is an inherent difficulty in answering this question, as it depends on one's definition of a plate and the consideration of many minor and micro plates. One source I found says 12, Wikipedia says a combined of 17 major and minor plates. That's also not considering if the Eurasian plate is divided or if the Indo-Australian is 1 or 2 plates.
