Was the gap between first to second relatively large?

I have a suggestion to make Wind Power scores fairer. The blade score is your score divided by the top score times 50. For the written section, it is your points out of 50. For the written section, it should be your score divided by the top score times 50. This way means the design and test are equal.

Excellent observation and suggestion

Hello Chalker,
Since I saw some variability with used CD motors this year I was going to experiment with some new CD motors over the summer. Are there any changes planned to the test stand for next year?

Nothing significant. We are clarifying the language to better explain the intent. There are some changes to the blade assemblies, but if you have a stand that meets the current specs it'll be able to mount the new blade assemblies.

Can we have the score sheet treat unit of measure in milli unit, i.e. mV & mW? with 3 significant precision?

Will the rule and language be more specific regarding to placement of blade with respect to the fan. Whether blade can be moved parallel/away/toward the fan. Min/Max allow distance between blade and fan?
