Scores?

Post by windu34 »

Post your average distance and time scores if you'd like (specify setup if you want, but you don't have to)

Time: about 12 seconds
Accuracy: about 2 cm from target

Our vehicle could definitely go faster, but as of now, we don't have enough money to buy the parts necessary :(.

You may want to look into gearing your motor if you can't get a faster one: time is a very important aspect of scoring

4 seconds
Up to 3 cm off the target.
Pretty slow but not much you can do with a trash esc. Will probably get a good one after MIT.

Best score at a recent invitational would have been 35.0 except for their construction violation. Dowel was 1.2 cm from floor... Time was 1.6 seconds.

Seems pretty standard - brushless motor, arduino, and a really expensive looking encoder

I heard they brake with calipers though, not sure how that would work.
