Pictures, Videos, Scores

Post by harik2000 »

Hi Guys,

This can be the place to post pictures, videos, and scores if applicable of your robot. You can give a short description of the robot, like Scara or Articulated, Control Structure, etc. If possible that you attended a tournament, you can tell us your scores and what went well and what did not go so well in the tournament.
I will post my pictures soon.

I will also be going to Mira Loma Invitationals from Monta Vista High School so if anyone wants to check me with me there, I would be happy to do so.

I do not have any videos/pictures to share, but I can report the following:
Scara - type built with mostly 3D printed parts and some metal.
Master-slave control system with potentiometers and servos

At Cypress Falls Invitational in Texas: 1st Place with a score of 105 and 2/5 dice with 6 facing upwards.

If possible, can you tell us about how long it takes to get that score. You are very good! :D :o

Are you talking about my run time, amount of practice, or the amount of time it took me to build it?
It took about 15 practice runs before my partner and I started getting perfect scores under the 3 minutes.
It took about 1 1/2 months to build (~6 hours per day)

Took first at MIT this weekend.
Perfect score, all dice on 6, 12 seconds to spare
Didn't see anything crazy innovative to report, but I didn't get to see any of the strong teams compete (although I did see troy's robot)

I can currently score a perfect score with all 4 dice on 6 with 1 minute 30 seconds to spare. I won my region with this.
Mira Loma High School
2016:
Air Trajectory/Robot Arm/Wright Stuff/Game On
Regionals: 7/2/2/1
States: 3/2/4/2
Nationals: 4/1/3/-

Seems plausible. How much did you practice with your partner? Must've taken forever to get that good at running the robot. Seems like nats is going to have a lot of full scores this year (which is usually a sign of poor event design, like robocross with top 15 at nats having perfect scores).
