Image What kind of lake is Horseshoe Lake and how is it formed?
It's an oxbow lake. It forms when contestant erosion and deposition forms a shorter path in a meandering stream (woo earth science!)

What does UTM stand for and what does it mean?
UTM stands for Universal Transverse Mercator, which is a land measurement system based of meters, and large network of meridians. It's those small numbers on the side of the topos with the prefex number.

What measurement differences are there between Stream Gradient and Slope Gradient?
Problems are better pursued with General Electric GE90-115 engines.

To be honest with you, I don't think you need to know this. i've gone three years in road scholar up to Nats, and I've never had to answer a question regarding anything remotely close to UPS.
