Don't know on C; B was Preston MS
Div C champion is Fossil Ridge (confirmed via Twitter). Scores usually get posted pretty quickly on the state website; how much they won by will be interesting to see.

The shape of Colorado looks rather strange on the trophy.
Top 3 w/ scores
B:
Preston MS Team 1 (115)
Homeschool Science B (148)
Kinard MS (171)

C:
Fossil Ridge HS (62)

On that sight it says Waterville Sr High School qualified in Maine C, not Waynefleet as JohnRichardsim posted earlier...should we change it on the wiki?

Relevant link I just found: http://wshs.aos92.org/home/InTheNews/ws ... ampionship

"Waterville Sr High School steps in to represent Maine at the National Science Olympiad in Indiana after Waynflete declined. Coach Ramgren says the team has to work doubly hard to both refine their science and problem-solving skills while raising the considerable funds needed to get everyone to Indianapolis. The team will leave Waterville on May 17th and return on the 22nd."

They, uhh... seem to be confused about where it is. But that's why they're going.

Wow, I've never heard of a team declining an invitation to Nats... Any idea why?

It happens occasionally. I know Franklin MS from Oregon has done it before, as has Union HS from Oklahoma and Medomak MS in Maine last year. It generally happens when there's a lack of available funding, especially when the team in question is not very experienced or likely to do well, and it wouldn't be their first time attending nationals.

IIRC Washington D.C. was going to send a division B team (*cough* Unome would know this *cough*) in 2011 I think, but they declined so a team from another state went instead.
