Re: MIT Invitational
Was like I wonder how many people are waiting till exactly at 1:00PM online for registration to open..... guess alot!! Getting one of the 15 spots for 2 teams must have been incredibly difficult then.JonB wrote:Unome wrote:40 minutes for registration!? I thought my 5 hour prediction was too short!

The 15 schools/30 spots for confirmed 2 teams filled up in 2 minutes.Fluorine wrote:Was like I wonder how many people are waiting till exactly at 1:00PM online for registration to open..... guess alot!! Getting one of the 15 spots for 2 teams must have been incredibly difficult then.
We were pleased that this new policy enabled a greater number of less-nationally-prominent local teams to claim spots in the tournament alongside the top national teams. As we've made clear all along, we're keen to make sure the MIT invitational serves elite teams and smaller up-and-coming teams alike, and we're happy that we found a fair policy that supports this goal in the face of astoundingly high demand for spots.

How does one even fill out the form in 2 minutes OMG! You need some like mad fast typing skills to pull that offLuo wrote:The 15 schools/30 spots for confirmed 2 teams filled up in 2 minutes.Fluorine wrote:Was like I wonder how many people are waiting till exactly at 1:00PM online for registration to open..... guess alot!! Some teams had funny spelling errors in things like the name of their school, so we figured that they were typing and clicking through really fastFluorine wrote:How does one even fill out the form in 2 minutes OMG! How long is it going to take for the website to be fixed? And where can I get those Japanese circular saws?
