I met nejanimb, sciolykid101, computernerd, and made several new friends on different teams. Quite fun!

Re: Meeting at the Swap Meet
Haha, I doubt I found anyone and if I did I didn't realize it. Did anyone else laugh when the cops started making people leave because there were too many people? I did...it was kind of a small room for 120 teams...
Call me coach.

Re: Meeting at the Swap Meet
I think the problem was all those tables. Only a few teams actually used them, and the rest became considerable roadblocks when people were trying to move around. It was a pretty huge fire hazard.
I only found a couple of fun t-shirts at the swap this year... what do others think about the swap?

Re: Meeting at the Swap Meet
Yeah, you'd sort of think that they would have thought of that beforehand... I mean, 120 teams x 15 people per team was probably already more people than could legally be in that room, plus there are coaches, parents, alternates, etc.jazzy009 wrote:Haha, I doubt I found anyone and if I did I didn't realize it. This was my first time at Nats. It was pretty fun. The swap meet was very crazy...Aia wrote:I think the problem was all those tables. Only a few teams actually used them, and the rest became considerable roadblocks when people were trying to move around. It was a pretty huge fire hazard.

I think I met you (Aia), too. I was with nejanimb watching EV... I'm on his team.

Re: Meeting at the Swap Meet
Ohh, it was in a ROOM? I didn't get to go, btw.
Somehow, I always pictured it outside, with a bunch of umbrellas for shade, and HUUUUUUUGE crowds of people knocking the umbrellas over o-o;
I really wanted to go to Nats, solely because of the swap meet, because I'm not on the team xD
Who was handing out the pins with the M/U-tant Cow Pi? They look cool ._.
If somebody from that team reads this, then BRING THEM AGAIN NEXT YEAR >:U
Please. :3

Re: Meeting at the Swap Meet
Me too, but then I saw DS's picture from the meet, and I saw it was in a room. It seemed to be very big though, so that helps!

Re: Meeting at the Swap Meet
Our team didn't even get inside the main room. We were all outside in the lobby sitting on the floor.
